Last night's COVID-19 report says that 4 more Belizeans died from the virus yesterday.
All 4 victims were from the Corozal District: 3 males and one female. Their ages ranged from 34 to 72 years old, and their deaths brought the country's fatality rate to 2.3%.
A total of 252 samples were tested yesterday, and 67 came back positive.
This report also provided a detailed breakdown of the number of deaths by each district. As you can see from this infographic, Orange Walk currently has the most COVID deaths at 51. Corozal is second with 26 deaths. There were 18 deaths in Cayo, the Belize District is right behind with 17. Both Stann Creek and Toledo have only had 3 COVID deaths.
