The graphic for the daily COVID numbers has been redesigned, and included is a daily report on the vaccination status of hospitalizations and deaths recorded.
So, presently, out of the 31 hospitalizations, 23 of them are unvaccinated, 5 have had their first dose, and three are fully vaccinated.
12 people are in the ICU, 9 of them are unvaccinated while 3 have had their first dose. Notably, the two deaths recorded between yesterday and today are both fully vaccinated. The death toll is now 397.
There were 283 new cases confirmed over that period and 314 new recoveries. There are 1,700 active cases currently. Out of the new cases, 100 of them were identified in the Belize District, with 82 in Belize City. 67 were discovered in Cayo, 44 in Toledo, 35 in Stann Creek, 22 in Orange Walk and only 4 in Corozal. The remaining 11 are from San Pedro Town. Both recent deaths are from Orange Walk.
