The September Celebrations season officially ended yesterday, Independence Day - but not with a colourful parade or a street bram - it ended with speeches - the festive season - was one more COVID casualty.
So, the highlight of the day was in Belmopan with where the the Prime Minister and the newly installed Leader of the Opposition squared off with their speeches.
We start first with the LOO, who used the rostrum to point out what he views as a few of the failings of the Briceno Administration, as it gets ready to complete its first year in office:
And while the Leader of the Opposition criticized the ruling party, Prime Minister John Briceno chose to focus on a few of the milestones that his administration has made during their short time government:
