Three patients died, and 1,255 Belizeans tested positive for COVID-19 over the weekend. Of those, 337 were in the Cayo District, 336 in the Belize district, and 189 new cases in the Orange Walk District. All these bring the country's active cases to 7,867 - a record high for Belize.
