4 Days to Go Before Strike at BTL

4 days remain before the Belize Communication Workers Union can officially go one strike. The union demonstrated on Saturday and the workers remain on a work to rule and go slow, but there is some progress on the negotiation front.

Today union leaders along with representatives of the Labour Department and the company met to discuss the termination of three employees. While there is no word yet on how that went tomorrow the union is scheduling a meeting with its members to bring them up to date on union matters.
