It's now been five full days since 7 well known men from Belize City went missing at sea. Search efforts by the BDF, Coast Guard, and dozens of civilians continued today by air and sea - and even on land and under the sea. But again there is nothing new to report tonight. This evening the wives of the missing men spoke out. Each personally thanked the public for the overwhelming show of support and the prayers and asked that it continue. The wives all say they are still holding on to hope.
Tania Escobar, Wife of Derek Escobar
"I want to beg them to try keep an eye out, anything. If they hear anything just call in or if they could help with whatever, whatever prayer or money - anything will do. Anything will do. We beg them because we want them home. We miss them."
Idelma Quiroz, Wife of Abner Quiroz
"I just want to thank everybody that has been helping so far now and

I am still everyone's support to help us. If anybody out there sees anything or knows anything, just gives us a call because this is five days now and we still don't know anything. There are seven families here that we really want our people back."
Keith Swift,
What has been the hardest thing for you guys over the last 5 days?
Tania Escobar,
"Not knowing nothing. It is just frustrating that nobody knows anything. You don't see anything."
Idelma Quiroz,
"I mean it's very hard because at night my daughter asks for her dad and I don't know what to tell her anymore."
Deborah Swift, Wife of Richard Swift
"I am Deborah Swift, wife of Richard Swift and I would like to thank everyone for supporting and I know that we are not giving up because we know

we haven't found anything and they must be out there and with God being in our lives and our hearts, that we know that we will find them. I am really grieving because he is everything to me, he is only strength that I have to go on in life, I lost my son and now its like I am just repeating the same thing so its really hurt for me."
Dorsey Nicholson, Wife of Egbert Nicholson
"My name Dorsey Nicholson, wife of Egbert Nicholson Sr. I am appealing to the public to please don't give up on us. We still need the help. This is the weekend, we are asking if you please, please help us. We are not giving up hope. Please. We thank the public for their support. We know you've given us a lot and we're asking to please just keep on helping us."
Patty Quiroz, Wife of Ismael Quiroz
"My name is Patty Quiroz, I am the Mr. Ismael Quiroz's wife. I would like to give a big heartfelt thank you to all the people out there who have helped financially and physically. It is very much appreciated. It has done a lot but we want the search to continue."
