The immigration amnesty was scheduled to have ended yesterday, but reports say it has been extended again. There's no official announcement, but information reaching 7News is that the drive has now been extended to the end of March. That's because the number of actual applicants - which is currently close to 12,000 has not met the projected number - which was as high as 40,000.
We'll let you know how that last month goes.
