Police Promotions For Women Officers

In their continuing celebrations of Women's month, and the 500 women that fill the department's ranks, a special award ceremony was held today at the Police Training Academy in Belmopan.

Commissioner of Police Chester Williams and an all star lineup of ladies including The Governor General Lady Froyla Salam and Madam Speaker, Valerie Woods were on hand to give out promotions to women who sat the exams. The Commissioner told us more:

We note that officers from every precinct and formation - except Precinct one received promotional honors.
