For months, Yarborough residents watched the slow construction of the pumping station, which was supposed to mitigate city flooding, especially in the Southside area.

But just when the flooding began, the pump malfunctioned. Last week, the CEO in the Ministry of Infrastructure said that two screws weren't working, but that the station was still in operation.
