Yesterday was the "tenth day of September" - and the official ceremony in the city took on a national scope.

But, it had poor attendance for government and local government leaders. In fact, the Minister of Culture only managed to make a single reference to the Tenth of September in his entire 8 minute speech - in which he seems to talk about everything else September - oriented, right down to the fire engine parade(!) except the contested history of the Tenth.

And while we didn't see the mayor, his son in law, the Deputy Mayor was a little more generous:
