A fire last night in San Pedro that left nineteen 19 families without a home.
Last night around 7:30 a house fire erupted at a plycem structure. 31-year-old Naisy Chi was cooking when the gas hose disconnected from the tank, igniting a rug and causing the fire to spread rapidly throughout the house.
And though it is only 1800 square feet, ten adults and nine children were living there. Fortunately, they were all safely evacuated, and no injuries were reported.
The house and all its contents were completely destroyed and were not insured. The total cost of damages remains unknown.
