Today's AMANDALA Newspaper reports that there will imminently be a shuffle of the Musa Cabinet. The article reports that Deputy Prime Minister Johnny Briceno will be removed as Deputy and replaced by Minister of Foreign Affairs and Tourism Godfrey Smith - who the article reports has been lobbying for the post.
Speaking with us this evening, Smith rejected that scenario and reserved further comment for tomorrow's Cabinet press briefing. Certainly here at 7NEWS we've also received reports of possibly a mid-month shuffle where all the variables and players are not known, but the names of Deputy Prime Minister John Briceno, and his northern ally Servulo Baeza continue to surface as possible casualties.
With that said, all we do know for certain is that any portfolio re-assignment will include the mostly unremarkable National Development portfolio of Assad Shoman who has made known his intention resigned from the Cabinet.
