Report: GOB More Corrupt Than Last Year

How corrupt is the Belize government? Well that’s a very loaded question but Transparency International, a global corruption watchdog has made it clear that Belize is much more corrupt than it was last year. The Corruption Perception Index rates countries from one to ten; one is the most corrupt, ten is the least.

Last year Belize placed 66th, with a rating of 3.7 but this year we are rated 99th, with a rating of 3.0, tied with the Dominican Republic, Mongolia and Lebanon.
