It seemed that protocols were being cast aside left and right on Nomination day, but what does that mean for election day?

It's a frightening prospect with a worst-case scenario turning the nation's decision-making process into the worst kind of super spreader event.

And this evening when we asked the Commissioner about his fears for the election day he appeared almost defeated.

Chester Williams - Commissioner of Police "I just wish that the politicians would have understand that it is not the amount of persons who go with you to nomination center that determine whether you win or lose the election but rather the person who come out and vote on election day and if I were running for politics, I would not want my supporters out there now because I would not want them to contract COVID and then when election time come they can't come out and vote for me so I would have told my supporters you know what you stay home so when election time come you all are healthy and could vote for me. Now with all the transpired today there might be a super spreader and a number of persons who were out there enjoying their pump and whatever may not be able to go vote on election day because they might eventually come up being COVID positive."

Cherisse Halsall "Sir given all the lapse in judgment that we saw today what are your fears for election day?"

Chester Williams "Well, 'Aye aye!' These people are just frustrating to God, I am hoping that come election day cooler heads and sensible heads are going to prevail. We have an infomercial that should come out hopefully by Friday. We already have it audio, we are working on the visual aspect of it in which again we are informing people how they can come out and vote safely and we are asking that once you have cast your vote please go home and rest and wait for the results to come out later on. We do not want any mass gathering, we do not want any celebration, I know that when victory is announced that those supporters of the victorious party will want to come out and celebrate but they must put that celebration behind them for the greater good of our community. We can't continue to behave recklessly and when our people are getting infected and they are dying from this disease we are going to question what is this one doing what is that one doing we must always question ourselves what are we doing individually to prevent ourselves from contracting the virus and infecting other persons."
