And, as you saw a few minutes ago, today we also learned who will be the new CEO in the Ministry of Home Affairs. It is attorney Kevin Arthurs. But, three hours before the 6:10 pm release of that list we asked the Minister of Home Affairs about Arthurs' appointment - and the concentration of legal minds:
Hon. Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs

"The recommended CEO for the Ministry of Home Affairs and New Growth Industries is Mr. Kevin Arthurs. He is as you know a seasoned well-trained attorney-at-law with excellent experience not just in civil law but he was once a prosecutor over at the director of public prosecutions office. He was on the crime control council. We intend to hopeful bring back the crime control council, It a very important body. He was I believe the secretary on the human rights commission and so somebody very well versed, not only in the law, but somebody with excellent ideas, excellent and strategies."
Jules Vasquez, reporter
"Would there be too much of a concentration of legalistic minds between the 3 of you all - 3 attorneys? I know Mr. Commissioner fancies himself on operational type gound commander and whenever he can like me squeezes into the BDUs (battle dress uniforms), but is there a need for more of a operational component within that senior command structure as well?"
Hon. Kareem Musa, Minister of Home Affairs
"I don't believe so Jules, I think it's a good blend. Like I said even though we are attorneys, for instance my first degree is on sociology with an emphasis on criminology and deviant behavior and so while it is I may have to go back to my undergraduate degree in order to pull some of my knowledge and experience, we are all capable of operating at different levels and so while it is, yes myself and my learned counsel over here are attorneys and also the CEO, I think it's a good blend of minds, good blend of strategies and no doubt it will work out operationally as well."
