The Belize Progressive Party, the green third party that's been trying to entice voters to forsake their favorite PUDP politicians, is announcing tonight that there's been a few changes in leadership.
At their most recently held National Party Congress, a new executive was elected to serve for its program year 2021-2022.
In a little musical chairs, Wil Maheia, the well-known politician from PG, is now the party's Political Leader. He takes over from his predecessor, Patrick Rogers, who is now the Party Chairman. This evening, Maheia spoke to us via Zoom about his ascent as the maximum leader of his party:
Patrick Williams fills the post that Maheia had as Deputy Political Leader. Marcel Palma is the new Deputy Chairman.
