Before the break - you saw the Prime Minister talk all about the Blue Bond that is retiring the Superbond.
And while he knows all about that bond - the Prime Minster says that he knew nothing about the 3.4 million dollar contract that government awarded to his brother's company at the end of June - and paid in full in early August.
And neither does the Contractor General! He's the man who should review every contract BEFORE government signs it - but in this case he told Senator Michael Peyrefitte in a letter that up to August 27, 2021, his office had, quote, "not received confirmation of the award of a licensed subscription 2nd to date has not issued a certificate in relation to this matter"
He wrote that in response to an inquiry from Senator Peyrefitte - who is asking the Supreme court for leave to apply for Judicial Review of the contract. The UDP hopes that the court chooses to set it aside based on illegality, irrationality and bias. His attorney is his former leader Dena Barrow.
