There's been some buzz in PUP circles about a new hire at the Border Management Agency - which falls under Anthony Mahler's ministry. Former CEO in the Ministry of Tourism under the UDP Yashin Dujon has been hired - reportedly as the General Manager of border management. This comes after Carlos "Obeah" Galvez - a stalwart PUP was fired a few weeks earlier.
Some find this peculiar - but Mahler said it's not about blue or red, but about who can get the job done.

"Do you know how Mr Dujon voted in the last election, if he voted?"
Courtney Menzies:
"Well, he worked under the UDP Administration."

"And so have many people in the administration. We are a government of the people by the people for the people and Mr Dujon is, as I know him to be, a true professional and I have said, and I said this morning, that Mediocrity is not an option for us and I will hold all employees and I have said to them, there are no sacred cows and so if you can't operate at the level that I expect you to operate then you have to go."
