Who's more popular, Shyne or Johnny? Who's the most disliked, Saldivar or Sista B?
These are among the findings in a new national poll which we'll be looking at in the next few days.
The poll is conducted by Viking Strategies a leading United States political research and sovereign risk firm - which has been doing polling on the down low in Belize since 2009. The company has been retained by Michael Ashcroft for all those years to study political preferences in Belize - and today was the first time they made their findings public.
The principal of the company presented the results of the Belize April 2023 Polling Survey - the 11th conducted in Belize.
When it comes to Barrow versus Briceno - the poll found that 98% of the respondents had heard about Briceno while only 92% had heard about Shyne Barrow.
Their favorability ratings were about the same though, with 61% for Shyne and 67% for the Prime Minister.
Briceno also topped the list of the most popular - meaning well known officials in Belize - with Francis Fonseca and Kareem Musa second and third. Shyne Barrow was fourth.
