"Well, I was at the reception t the Naia resort in Placencia and Shyne came by and we spoke, as usual, he is a very theatrics and inconsistent fella. He said to me Chester you are a good Commissioner but it's time for you to go, and I asked him why if I am a good Commissioner why must I go and he said that it is time for a UDP Commissioner and he said who that person should be, I am not going to say the name and I said to him well it seems to me you want someone to be Commissioner that you can manipulate and have how you want or someone who is going to allow crime to be out of control so you can have something to attack the government about and then we continued our conversation and he said that he has heard that I will declare my candidacy for Stann Creek West next week and I told him that I will declared my Candidacy for Mesopotamia division, not Stann Creek West, and he just went off to say that it looks like I want to lose but, um, he went on in your interview with him yesterday I saw him say that I have a PUP card or something to that effect, I have no political party card and my duties at this time is that of the Commissioner of Police and I don't think that as the Commissioner of police I will hold any political party card, whenever the time comes for me to debit office and I decide what I will do, then I may hold a political party card but until then I remain committed to my duties as Commissioner of Police and the truth be told if or when the time comes that I should decide to go into politics, I love the Mesopotamia division, I think the people there deserve good representation and I think I can offer that to them, so tell Shyne it is better for him to have me as Commissioner than to go into politics because if I go into politics I will pose a serious threat to him and his status as a representative of the house from Mesopotamia."
