And, turning back now to the politics around crime - gang figure Alex Underwood who was charged for gang membership last week is back in the news tonight.

That's after the Commissioner of Police today issued a correction to a statement he made last week when we asked him if Underwood was a paid member of the Leadership Intervention Unit. At the time - he twice denied it, but today he sent the media a note saying, "just a correction to what I had said to the media regarding Alex Underwood and his status with LIU. From discussion with Behavior Modification, I have been informed that Underwood was employed by LIU up to the time of his arrest."

So, there it is - what we had been saying from last week - and what the Compol twice denied - on Wednesday and Friday - here's what he told us on those two occasions last week:

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Likewise with Alex Underwood, he's not employed by LIU."

Jules Vasquez
"Was not, I will ask you again, was not Alex Underwood at a recent time also on the LIU payroll?"

Chester Williams, Commissioner of Police
"Alex Underwood was not an active member of LIU. We classify members of LIU as persons who are employed by LIU or a part of our programs. He was not paid, neither is he a part of our programs."
