BTL Union Rumbling And Grumbling

There are rumblings of dissatisfaction at BTL tonight - after the Belize Communication Workers Union met this evening at the company headquarters in Belize City.

This is after an email criticizing and threatening top management emerged on the weekend and then a mass mail was sent out today.

It says, quote, "BTL has taken its employees for granted. The impunity of management must come to an end."

The email makes a number of allegations and urges union members to give management, quote, "a wake up call."

The mail refers to a recent sickout by the Crown Counsels and concludes, quote, "BCWU can surely do a lot more than that!!" End quote.
