And with municipal elections so close, we wondered if that was the reason for the upgrading of some Caribbean Shores Streets. We know that residents have been complaining for some time about the state of the streets since they were unpaved, dusty, and had potholes that could be mistaken for craters. But yesterday when we asked the area rep, he said that the City Council has been paving streets all year round, not just for election time.
