And Bradley continued on a rant about the unconstitutionality of the state of emergency. He says that the government is too quick to enact it and that the public has grown complacent, not even batting an eye at the frequency or length of the SOE's. He also brought up, once again, the minor currently locked up.
Richard "Dickie" Bradley, Attorney

"This is a frightening, ongoing development in the society. When you go back to your office, you pull out section 20 of the constitution that you can call a state of emergency when there is an earthquake, a hurricane, a flood, a war, some natural disaster that is putting all of us, maybe a section of the city, a section of the country, all of us are at risk because something of such major proportions has taken place. But you shoot three people and we are under a state of emergency? Year after year after year?"
"163 men in this city mostly are on charges for being members of a gang. 160+ people so they round up all of them who they've brought charges and take them for SOE and have them back there for 90 days and then the society has become so complacent. I don't know what it is that they're putting in the water that we drink. But we have become so complacent, if they announce that the end of the three months that they've decided to extend it for another three months, nobody will bawl or yell, only the people and their family members, who swear that a number of them have nothing to do with gang, I received a hand written letter a few days ago from a mother who is beside herself and you know parents are the last ones to know, I don't know, this is becoming a serious matter and thank you all for abducting me, I can't come out of court and reach my vehicle yet because Anita is putting her foot to trip me down, she is doing all kinds of things to block my path to my vehicle but thanks to you guys in the media, or else we would not even know that a 13-year-old is locked up.13 years old, and the state, the nation, the government, the police, took a child and put him in jail and Anita was in court when she heard a man stand up and tell the magistrate that when night comes, they rape me, all of them in the cell, and one of them in the cell said, the man is talking fool, no this is what is happening to him. So the media, only you we have left to try and help that the advantages, the chance, the abuse that is going on in the society is not only exposed but that they do something about it."
