The UDP's deadline for applications for the post of divisional Caretakers was Friday evening. Coming out of a controversial National Party council Meeting led by resigned Chairman Michael Peyrefitte, the resolution was to invite applications for 18 constituencies countrywide. Tonight, the party is not saying how many names were submitted or if they covered all the seats, but the news tonight is that even though Tracy Panton's faction had declared that NPC meeting illegitimate, best indications are that her allies duly submitted their applications to the party Secretary General, Shary Medina.
