And while the unions consult with their membership, do they run the risk of having BTL rush ahead to consummate the acquisition while the social partners are still plotting? Waight says her ducks are already lined up:

"We have already started to plan and we started to plan from last week the NTUCB sent our letter to BTL telling them do not go ahead with this acquisition we are still at NO we do not feel that we are ready to move forward we do not know, we haven't gotten the answers we needed and the same way the BCCI and the other social partners feel the churches, so we had met yesterday we have charted a way forward and we will be meeting again either today or tomorrow to continue that way forward but I cannot reveal what those steps are at this point we are not waiting for any ducks to be lined up we have lined up our ducks already."
