Bermudian Wins Women's Cross Country

The 32nd annual PUMA Women's Cross Country race went off yesterday.

10 riders - 6 foreigners and four locals - lined up for the 73 mile race from Cayo to Belize City and just under 4 hours later, Caitlin Conyers from Bermuda rode into the city all alone. She had put a two and a half minute gap on the chase group in the last 6 miles.

She told Andrew Ordonez about the win on the Cycling Federation's official livestream:

Conyers was first, and second went to Diana Rodriguez of Mexico, and third was Katy Sorell of the USA - who was last year's winner.
