Following their historic win last week Thursday, 2 of the Belize Women's U-23 Volleyball players were on Sunup this morning talking about their experience in the tournament. We also asked them, what's next and will they be playing again anytime soon?

Jacey Usher, Serving Specialist:
"I feel like with the crowd support it made it so much better but it also made us a lot more tense because it was like okay all of these people came out to support us we want to make sure that we do amazing fir them, and prove to them and have them be proud of us and what we are trying to accomplish for them, ourselves the country and everything."
"I feel like with the first set I think we won like 25-7 something like that to that extent and it was like okay we got this I feel like that made us confident and it helped us a lot when going into the second set and when Guatemala like picked up their pace a little bit it was like okay they are trying to fight back and so when they overtook us in the third set it was like okay they are trying to fight harder so we have to push harder. I feel like for them it was pretty tense but again I cant speak for them because I was not on their team but for us I know when we lost the third set we were like okay we have to fix up, go harder, go more with a bang and just play hard."

Herdie Castillo, Middle Blocker:
"Right now since the tournament started it's not may life like im just floating around doing this and doing this and it hasn't really hit me yet. I feel like I did it."
"I am not sure if the others have started yet but hopefully next week we start training for the Central American games in Guatemala in October the first week in October You guys beat them now you're going back to their spot, how are you so disrespectful? They invited us they invited us so it's not disrespectful So this is the female Central American? It's everyone the females the males Yes it is a little bit bigger."
