And, finally tonight, in its 96th year, the prized garland in the Holy Saturday Cross Country Cycling Classic was claimed by a British rider, Jim Brown. He also won last year, but this time he did it in record time, smashing the 2024 record by 8 minutes.

After the race ended we spoke to him and the top Belizean finisher, Jyven Gonzalez in third place:

The new record set by Brown is five hours, thirty-one minutes, and thirty-one seconds.
