San Pedro Slows To A Crawl As Islanders Evacuate

Tonight, the island town of San Pedro is almost at a standstill - as the island waits to see what Hurricane Beryl will do.

Today, those residents who weren't sure what to expect left the island as early as possible - after water taxi's took their last run at 3:00 pm - and flights stopped shortly thereafter.

So, tonight, Belize's busiest island is calm and shelves are bare, as residents wait to see what Beryl will do.
