You can't fall off the ground, that's what the Government of Belize must be finding out after they've been downgraded right to the floor of the global financial community in successive downgrades from Standard and Poor's. Well tonight, there's one more grounder coming GOB's way and this one is from the Moody's Investor Service. Moody's has downgraded all Belize's ratings to negative saying that analysts have not been convinced by efforts to correct GOB's financial freefall. The assessment also points out that Moody's is concerned that government cannot carry out the adjustments that are necessary to repair its credit situation. Moody's has committed to its investors that it will continue to monitor GOB's adjustment programme for improvement.
