Cop and Commuter Bus Collide

Police officer Eugene Fuentes is in serious condition at the KHMH after an accident on the Western Highway this morning. Three policemen had just left Belmopan in a Geo Tracker when at mile 46, near the cut off for the George Price Boulevard, they collided into a Novelo's bus heading in the opposite direction. Constable Fuentes sustained a broken leg, and other accident trauma, while driver Pastor Koch and Inez Castillo did not sustain serious injury. The bus driver was detained pending charges.
