And while you were fumbling in the kitchen trying to find candles, BEL was counting the money from its best year ever. According to the company's financials which were released to the media today, BEL's revenue reached a record high of $120 million, leading to its highest profit ever, $18.9 million, up just about 20% from $15.8 million in the previous year.
The company says it experienced a strong growth in earnings as sales grew by 6% and rates went up by 11%. The company will approve these financials at its annual general meeting next week Tuesday.
