6,111 primary school students across the country should sleep better tonight knowing that the Primary School Examination (PSE) is over. Today those students sat the second and final part of the PSE in the subjects of math and social studies. For most students today brought to an end months of studying, endless sleepless nights, and preparation. So did it pay off? We asked.

Keith Swift Reporting
After being in there for 6 hours, standard six students emerged from PSE testing centers this afternoon with this chorus: math two was the problem.

Student #1: Math, not sure about it. Social Studies was kind of difficult.

Student #2: The Social Studies wasn't that hard. The math problem

solving was kind of challenging and the math one was not that hard.

Student #3: It was kind of challenging yeah, the math two was hard.

Student #4: The math two was hard, hard enough; I could say that. The Social Studies was kind of hardish."

Student #5: It was a little hard, the math two but all the other rest was easy.

Student #6: It was hard but I made my way through it.

KS: What part was hard?
Student #6: The math two.

Student #7: M_ath two was hard because it was problem solving.

There were however some students who say all it took was time.

Student #8: It was kind of easy, the math problem solving two wasn't as challenging as the English I took earlier, but I think I did good."

Student #9: It was challenging but all I really needed to do was just read everything carefully and just concentrate on what you are doing and everything else.

But there was one thing all these agreed on - they are happy it's all over.

Student #2: Our teachers told us just to relax over the weekend and

not to...
KS: Did you guys cram?
Student #2: Not really cram, we just relaxed because she said in the test, if you relax everything will just come to you.
KS: You guys feel like a weight is off your shoulders?
Students: Yes, Definitely.

The students sat the science and English papers in April. The Ministry of Education say results could be out by the end of the month.
