At the top of the news we told you that Cabinet had approved the phased re opening of schools for face to face in class instruction on April 12th, 2021.
Also at Cabinet, the Government's Union Budget Consultation Team updated their colleagues on the response from the unions in their latest correspondence, and their intent to continue to discussions in good faith.
The Cabinet has also approved a National Tourism Recovery Plan, which presented by the Ministry of Tourism and Diaspora Relations. It includes plans to place Belize's tourism sector back on a path to pre-pandemic growth trends.
The Cabinet also received an update from Eamon Courtenay, the Minister of Foreign Affairs, Foreign Trade, and Immigration of the results of the successful meeting between the Foreign Affairs Ministers of Belize and Guatemala.
