Roses For Sailor’s Wives

Earlier in the news we showed you what the Belize Coast Guard's Commandant had to say about the pirates caught in Honduras. We were able to catch up with him at their Military Spouse Appreciation Day. As a part of Women's Month, the Coast Guard felt it was appropriate to honor the wives of the senior officers, who, they say, are an extension of their military family.

The day was filled with fun activities that the husbands put together for their wives. Courtney Menzies was there and has this story.

As a part of their activities for women's month, the women officers will be visiting the women at the Kolbe Foundation tomorrow.
