And while the PM didn't want to discuss Juratowich's legal opinion, he said that the government is taking its time to bring back the Boledo to avoid getting sued. It's been two months without Belize's favorite game of chance, and it may be another month or more before you can play again. And it's not just you missing buying your favorite number either, Government is losing substantial annual income.

Today, the PM explained that they're trying to be very careful with the tendering process.

"Yes but then we'll get a lot more when it's launched. As I've said, we have to do it well, the former prime minister is looking at any step we take to see if we're giving them any chance to be able to sue us. Now if we'd have done it hurriedly, you'd be the first one to tell us, oh, you already cooked this up and you wanted to give it someone else. Some people asked us to even extend the time for them to apply and we've done that. I think it's going to close I think the 15th of July so we are doing everything possible to do it properly and to ensure that the Belizean people benefit from the Belizean Boledo lottery."
