And in crime news, on Tuesday we told you that the body of 18-year-old Gabriel Tillett was found among the graves of Lord Ridge Cemetery. At that time we didn't have much info on his murder, just that he'd been remanded to prison from October 2022 to May of this year for another murder he was accused of committing.
While we initially reported that he'd been charged for the murder of 38-year-old Karl Lamb Sr, it was actually for Lamb's son, 18-year-old Karl Lamb JUNIOR, who'd been stabbed to death last year.
However, according to Tillett's family, those charges against him were dropped, and he was released from prison.
Until earlier this week, when someone killed him and placed his body in the cemetery. According to the Commissioner of Police, they believe the motive is retaliation for another murder - presumably Lamb's.

"Police responded to information of a body found in the cemetery on Tuesday morning. Upon arrival they saw the lifeless body of a male person and the body exhibited injuries consistent with stab wounds. The body was taken to the hospital where it was pronounced dead on arrival. Police investigations so far have indicated that there may have been three persons involved in placing the body at the cemetery. We have identified two of those persons and we are in the process of trying to locate them at this time."
"Like I said the video that we have showed that the body was placed there by three persons. Whether or not he was dead when he was placed there we don't know but we are looking for the three persons we believe have placed the body at the cemetery."
"We believe it might be as a result of a previous murder that took place in the Antelope street extension area."

"So the families claim that it had to do with some weed that he had smoked out and owed for, and that his cell phone was taken away the night before has no bearing on that? On what police have found?"

"Like I said we believe it's a retaliation for a previous murder"

"What about a white vehicle that he got in around 9 O'clock on Monday night?"

"I'm not aware of that white vehicle I can only tell you what we have seen from video footages that viewed"
And police have arrested one of the persons they believe is involved in Tillett's death. Today they charged 28-year-old Samuel Trapp for the crime of murder.
