For the past few weeks, Channel 7 news has been investigating fraudulent gun licenses.

And, finally, government is listening and following up on the many cautions that we have aired.

The cabinet has approved the establishment of a firearms and ammunition control board. Which will receive, review, and process firearm applications. The board will also provide training and certification for license holders, and a new digitized system is set to be implemented, which will hold all the data on the issuance of licenses for firearms and ammunition.
