It had been rumored since late last week - but it was just formally announced one hour ago: the Corozal Free Zone will be opened tomorrow for Belizeans to enter and shop.

But, it's not a free for all. Release says that "shopping will be restricted to general goods at the retail level, and…will not include any alcoholic beverages, spirits, or cigarettes."

And, when shoppers are returning - they'll have to go through customs where "all items purchased in the zone will be subject to all applicable import duties and taxes."
