The 2 men who viciously attacked an asian business owner in San Pedro town, and set his establishment on fire, have been apprehended by police with the help of surveillance footage obtained at the scene. ASP Smith told us more.

"An investigator attached to the San Pedro Police station has formally arrested and jointly charged 31 year old Thomas Ariola and 35 year old Gabriel Sho both of San Pedro town for the crime of attempted murder. The charge follows police investigation into an incident that occurred on the 17th of November 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM on Laguna drive in San Pedro town."

"The initial investigation suggests that the male persons entered that establishment where they proceeded to beat and stab Mr Huang and thereafter they started a fire in the establishment before making good their escape. Police were alerted of this fact when residents in the area reported that they observed smoke coming from the building and an injured Mr Huang exiting that property, the officers transported Mr Huang to do San Pedro Polyclinic and personnel from the fire department responded and were able to extinguish the fire."

"While the culprits stole the DVR in a bid to conceal evidence the camera was not damaged and the footage was retrieved which led police to the identity of the individuals. Both individuals were apprehended there after, Mr Ariola was observed and he sought to evade police but he was apprehended in the Mangrove area while Mr Sho was apprehended at a location he is known to frequent. Mr Huang underwent surgery and is now listed in a stable condition and additional charges are now expected to be levied in relation to this incident."

For clarity, the incident happened 5 days ago on December 17th.
