Tamarind Switch Recipient Still Not On A Straight Path

He was lashed with a tamarind switch for misconduct when he was in jail, but police say that notorious criminal Nehru Smith still hasn't learned the value of walking the straight and narrow. Smith is wanted for the armed robbery of a Belize City woman yesterday morning. Twenty-one year old Genul Williams reported that at 7:30 yesterday morning, she was walking in the area of George Street when a car drove up and a man she identified as Nehru Smith jumped out, pointed a handgun in her face and snatched her 650 dollar gold chain. Smith was apprehended this morning and is being held pending charges.
