He's not exactly George Stefanapoulis, but when the Musa Administration's Director of Communication, Vaughan Gill resigns his post, it's still news. Gill has worked as an information officer since the early 90's through successive administrations. But he today confirmedto Seven News that he has resigned effective August 1st to work privately for the PUP secretariat. It's like threading a political needle with a noodle, because anyone who works for the Press Office or BIS - as it was formerly known - basically works for the government in a political capacity anyway. But Gill says there'll be no blurring of the lines between government and politics for him - and he's making a clean break. Taking his place will be a man of eminent and varied media credentials, former Wave Radio Manager Brian Mossiah. Mossiah leaves his most recent media stop off at Love FM to take up the post. Gill will work with him during the next month as he hands over the reigns.
