Even today - three months after he was shot as he ran form a crime scene - the images of Leo Grant being dragged off to the KHMH after being shot are still very vivid.

Viewers will recall that Grant was shot on November 5th of last year when he attacked a neighbor who had been kind to him on numerous occasions. Today, recovered from his wounds, the 22-year-old Grant appeared in court to answer to charges of aggravated assault and aggravated burglary.

Today Grant was found guilty - after the presentation of testimony from Carla Sanchez- the Good Samaritan whom grant turned on - as well as Kareem Espat the man who shot grant and came to Sanchez's rescue.

Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord sentenced him 7 years for aggravated burglary and 5 years for aggravated assault of Kareem Espat. The 5-year sentence is to run concurrent to the 7-year sentence.
