Reports to 7NEWS are that police are about to release the three men detained for the murder of Melissa Suazo.

As we've reported, the pregnant, 18-year-old mother of two was found dead in a neighbor's yard in the Lakeland area of Dangriga on Saturday morning. The suspects were the last seen with her, but police have no evidence to connect them to her death.

A post mortem conducted yesterday showed that she had been manually strangled. Examiners have sent samples to the lab to determine if she was also raped. The examination also confirmed that the 8-month-old male fetus was normal and could have thrived so if and when anyone is charged, they will be charged for two murders.
