It was officer against officer yesterday in Magistrate's Court as police officers took their fellow men in uniform to court for criminal offenses.

The first was noted Inspector Chester Williams who took 20 year old constable Elmer Nah to court for slashing the tire on his police issue green Ford Escort. Nah pleaded not guilty to damage to property and he was released on $1,000 bail. If you recall, Nah was thrown into detention in uniform two months ago by Williams (see Nah Jailed for Speaking Up) after the senior officer thought the constable was disrespecting him.

Next up was Constable Wilhelm Young who was first charged with wounding Janice Jacobs on July 26th. Added to that charge were assaulting a police and harm for attacking one of his fellow constables when they came to break up a domestic dispute. Young was released on $1250 bail.

And finally it was the story of a BDF soldier and a constable charged with wounding. The constable is Lenancio Bol and the soldier is Antonio Teul who were charged for attacking civilian Shamir Henry in Ladyville. Both Bol and Teul were released on bail in the sum of $700.
