Armed robbers today strode into the country's largest hotel and robbed it of close to $80,000.

Shortly after 9:00 this morning, two men entered the Princess Hotel compound by hopping the fence adjoining the BTL Park. They strode past the pool where children were taking swimming classes and went into the building through the un-guarded side entrance. Police believe the robbers may have had insider information because the accounts office is placed right in the hallway running from that entrance. It's an odd location, because this office sits alone, away from the administrative center of the Hotel, meaning the robbers did not have to go into the main lobby area.

When they got to the Accounts Office the pair donned masks, pulled out handguns and pressed the 5 female workers to hand over somewhere between 65 and 80 thousand dollars in cash, according to Manager Muanmar Koc. They than left the same way they had come, walking right past the pool and hopping over the fence to a brown car that was waiting for them near the BTL Park.

Police don't have anyone detained at this time, but say they are investigating.
