Murdered & Thrown in Pit Latrine

Police have confirmed the identity and cause of death for a man found in a pit latrine yesterday. 30-year-old Enrique Martinez from Salvapan was shot to the head, and thrown in the latrine. He was last seen by his parents a week ago, and police believe he was killed last weekend and then taken to the pit and thrown in there. He was released from prison last month and police say they have suspects who they are now pursuing. At the time of his death, he was being investigated for a number of crimes in Belmopan.
