They are not due back in Magistrate's Court until September 19th but today the Brown brothers, Andrew and Floyd, left the Hattieville Prison and headed to the Karl Heusner Memorial Hospital to visit their gravely ill father. Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord authorized the visits and today, under police guard, the brothers got to see their father before he left for a hospital in Guatemala. Their father, a retired career public servant, is suffering from cancer.
Andrew "Pawpa" Brown and Floyd Brown are wanted in Miami for allegedly importing cocaine into the United States. Their extradition trial hit a snag on Tuesday when Chief Magistrate Herbert Lord denied them bail. Lord did however authorize three visits to their hospital per week for the brothers. They have been in jail since they were picked up on July 15th.
