Last night we told you about a gun crazy Chinese shopkeeper who allegedly pulled a pistol on one of his customers. As we reported, the customer Elliston Craig is the one who ended up in handcuffs and is now facing charges of wounding. The Chinese shopkeeper is Migg Li Zhing and this isn't the first he has allegedly gone gun crazy. 7NEWS has confirmed that in February it was the same Migg Li Zhing who shot at a customer but missed and instead caught a 15-year-old bystander.

With serious firearm offences pending, how did Zhing get back his gun? Well 7NEWS did some digging and it turns out that the complainant in that case went to the DPP's office and asked to drop the charges of use of deadly means of harm, aggravated assault, wounding, and discharging a firearm in public. With the charges withdrawn, Zhing's 9 millimeter gun was returned to him.

Elliston Craig, who says Zhing drew the gun on him, but ended up as the one with the charges, has now made a complaint against Zhing.
